Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for an OTA/PTA position in the Rehabilitation Services Department.The primary location for this position is: Tillsonburg District Memorial HospitalQualifications:
Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant Diploma required or equivalent deemed acceptable to the hospital
Must possess current BLS certificate.
One-year recent PT/OT Assistant experience required or equivalent deemed acceptable to the hospital.
Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize patient care needs.
Demonstrated ability to perform duties independently.
Demonstrated ability to function productively as a team member in an interdisciplinary setting.
Demonstrated knowledge in the usage of various programs such as Cerner, Powerchart and Microsoft Office.
Skilled with the interaction of patients and families to provide patient focused, goal-oriented care.
Ability to demonstrate a commitment to Privacy and Confidentiality.
Excellent attendance record and work ethics in previous positions.
Other pertinent conditions:
Salary per the UNIFOR collective agreement ($34.46 per hour to $35.65 per hour)
