- Lead & develop Foods promotional, trade and mix optimization strategies for annual operating plan & 5-year strategic plan, in support of volume, share, net revenue realization & profit goals.
- Lead & build the annual Foods National Promotional Guidance including the communication of updates to the PepsiCo Customer Team (PCT).
- Educate, coach & partner with PCT to optimize trade spend, mix & promotional calendars utilizing RGM tools & frameworks to build & deliver annual plan targets.
- Lead the Foods Revenue Management Council internal governance forum & processes including R&O and post-game reviews.
- Drive share, net revenue & profit growth targets by:
- Leveraging RGM & Insights reporting & tools to assess ongoing performance and evaluate key promotional activities across the competitive landscape.
- Completing insights-lead post-game analysis & scenario planning to identify key performance drivers and partner with cross-functional teams to develop & execute solutions.
- Leading innovation pricing execution models to set by customer trade structures & guidance leveraging category insights to determine optimal frequency, depth, and timing of promotional calendars to include in launch playbooks.
- Manage the RGM tools including Nielsen IQ Revenue Optimizer, Best Weeks Dashboard, Price Gap Dashboard and Mix Management Dashboard.
- Leverage Global Revenue Management best practices and adapt for Canadian business.
- Lead the development and refinement of new and existing revenue management process and best practices.
- Coach and develop two direct reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business. MBA is an asset but not required
- 8+ years of work experience in Revenue Management, Brand/Sales/Customer Finance, Insights, Category Management or Strategy
- Strong Excel skills
- Nielsen and Power BI are a plus
- Strong influencing skills and proven ability at impacting agenda at various levels of the organization
- Deep understanding of financial modelling/evaluation, linking to consumer and shopper data
- Ability to craft a clear communication to drive action & present with confidence and credibility in large forums
- Ability to work and think independently with limited direction and oversight
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven collaboration/teamwork experience
- Strong organizational skills along with time management and prioritization capabilities
- Strong technical, problem solving, planning, and analytical skills
