Database Administrator

• Business group: GTEP – Database Operations
• Reason for request: New Project support

• Install, configure and support IBM Guardium Data protection and Key management tools. Install IBM Agents on Oracle Database servers, Configure policies for Data protection. Migrate Oracle Encryption keys from local vaults to Central Key Management repository

• Provide on-site database and system support
• Monitor the system, and act upon system and application automated alerts
• Plan and perform IBM software and database installation, configuration, upgrade and patching
• Perform and manage IBM application backups

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• 5+ years of recent experience as Senior Oracle DBA
• 2 years of recent experience with IBM Guardium is critical for the role
• Strong knowledge of Database Advanced Security

• 3+ years of experience with Ansible Automation experience
• 2+ years of experience with Exadata
• 2+ years of experience with MySQL
• 2+ years of Oracle OEM experience
• Previous exp with Top banks/FI is nice to have

• Possess excellent organizational skills and be able to prioritize and plan work to meet tight deadlines.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to deal with industry experts and professionals across the Bank.

• Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or technical equivalent

• The ideal candidate will be a Senior Oracle DBA with very strong experience with IBM Guardium Data protection and Key management tools. Willingness to work flexible hours, outside of regular business hours, nights, weekends.
