
CMMS/Spare Parts Coordinator

- CMMS Management Maintain and update equipment data, PM schedules, and work order history in the CMMS Generate reports and KPIs (e.g., MTTR, MTBF, PM compliance)
- Train maintenance staff on CMMS use and best practices
- Ensure timely creation, assignment, and closure of work orders
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas of improvement Inventory & Spare Parts Management
- Organize and maintain accurate inventory of spare parts
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Maintain spare parts storeroom for accessibility and accuracy
- Source and purchase spare parts and consumables from approved vendors
- Coordinate with suppliers for cost-effective and timely delivery
- Match shipments to POs and ensure accurate documentation
- Participate in maintenance planning and meetings
- Keep clear communication with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and reporting
- Assist in updating maintenance procedures and SOPs
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process industry environment
- Proficiency with CMMS software (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Fiix, eMaint, IdHammer)
- Post-secondary education in Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field
- Strong knowledge of spare parts, mechanical/electrical components, and maintenance terminology
- Excellent data entry accuracy, organization, and communication skills
- Strong MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate equipment like forklifts and scissor lifts
- Comfortable working in a production plant with noise, dust, and temperature variations
- Health & Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Lockout/Tagout, First Aid)
- Supervisory or leadership experience
- Certifications such as Lean Manufacturing, RCA, TPS, or RCM Familiarity with 5 Whys methodology
