- Perform mechanical repairs and troubleshoot equipment like pumps, valves, motors, gears, actuators, and more
- Analyze mechanical issues and determine corrective actions or replacement needs
- Interpret schematics, prints, and O&M manuals to validate installations and guide repairs
- Coordinate and inspect contractor work to ensure quality and standard compliance
- Respond to emergency failures and support corrective actions or contractor work
- Assist Special Projects teams with equipment commissioning and implementation
- Maintain accurate records in a computerized maintenance management system (EAM)
- Perform welding, pipe fitting, and rigging as required
- Adhere to safety codes, quality management systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001), and company policies
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Secondary School Diploma and a valid Certificate of Apprenticeship
- Valid Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) in good standing
- 3–5 years of practical mechanical maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings and O&M manuals
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance systems is an asset
- Strong understanding of safety standards and OHSA regulations
- Experience supporting equipment installation and project startups
- Prior work in metal manufacturing or related industries
- Familiarity with cranes, lift trucks, and other material handling equipment
