- Act as a high-performing sales hunter, bringing strong connections within the food manufacturing industry in the United States.
- Understand customer needs and the competitive landscape to effectively position the company’s products and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers and influencers to generate new business opportunities.
- Follow up on leads provided by the Business Development team, Principal Partners, and marketing initiatives, while also generating leads through independent prospecting.
- Proactively introduce and promote key products with strategic messaging tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to develop customer solutions and optimize product performance.
- Communicate with customers through various channels — in-person meetings, video calls, telephone, and email.
- Manage contract negotiations, communicate pricing updates, and execute new business deals.
- Provide sales reports, highlight key opportunities, and discuss challenges during monthly meetings.
- Manage time effectively, respond promptly to customer inquiries, and handle after-hours requests when necessary.
- Minimum 3 years of proven success in sales, preferably within the food ingredients or manufacturing industry.
- Basic knowledge of ingredient applications and food formulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders in complex organizations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated track record of success in a results-driven, performance-oriented environment.
- Fully remote role with occasional travel to clients based in the United States.
