Sr. Accountant

• Oversee full-cycle accounting activities, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting for multiple corporate entities.
• Process payroll operations for over 100 employees, ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines.
• Prepare and file required returns and regulatory documents in a timely manner.
• Conduct bank reconciliations across multiple operating accounts, ensuring financial accuracy.
• Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure consistency and reliability in financial data.
• Handle intercompany reimbursements and related transactions with precision.
• Assist in audit preparations and respond to year-end inquiries with supporting documentation.
• Prepare draw requests and compile necessary financial documentation for approval.
• Collaborate with the Controller to execute ad hoc accounting tasks and financial analyses.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to optimize accounting operations.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Proficiency in Yardi software is essential.
• Hands-on experience in payroll processing is required.
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with multi-entity corporate accounting is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively within a small finance team.
• Advanced knowledge of financial systems such as Microsoft Excel and general ledger software.
