Cahill Fabrication Structural, a division of the Cahill Group, is currently recruiting an experienced CNC Plasma Table Operator to play a key role in a multi-year project, supporting steel plate processing within a fabrication shop environment. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work, has a strong understanding of fabrication processes, and enjoys contributing to a team that delivers high-quality results on every project. You'll work closely with shop leads and other trades to ensure production targets are met, while also maintaining equipment and supporting a safe, organized workspace.What will you do?
Set up and operate CNC plasma table to cut steel plates.
Read and interpret drawings and CNC files. Monitor cut quality and inspect finished parts.
Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping.
What will you bring?
Hands on experience operating CNC plasma cutting equipment.
Experience working with and processing steel plate.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings with confidence.
Strong focus on safety and quality.
Comfortable working in a unionized setting and able to meet FFAW union requirements as applicable.
Job Details:
Night shift
10-hour shifts
Monday to Thursday: 5:30 PM to 3:00 AM
Overtime if required outside regular hours
