- Documenter le dossier de sinistre en capturant et mettant à jour précisément les données/informations conformément aux meilleures pratiques pour les sinistres commerciaux d'exposition et de complexité modérées à élevées.
- Utiliser votre jugement pour vérifier les polices et déterminer les couvertures en analysant la couverture applicable et en évaluant si le sinistre est couvert.
- Œuvrer pour une résolution rapide des sinistres en développant une stratégie de dossier, une évaluation, et en escaladant les questions au besoin.
- Établir des provisions en temps opportun et effectuer un examen continu tout au long du cycle du sinistre, dans les limites de votre autorité, en estimant et en validant la valeur des sinistres.
- Atteindre les standards de qualité en suivant les meilleures pratiques.
- Assurer le service client par une communication proactive, répondre aux demandes, suivre les protocoles clients et participer aux efforts de marketing, selon les besoins.
- Gérer les dépenses en travaillant dans les réseaux de fournisseurs approuvés et en gérant le champ d'application des travaux confiés à des prestataires externes.
- Contribuer à la croissance rentable en fournissant des informations sur les risques, les tendances et les analyses à l'unité d'affaires ou au client, au besoin.
- Maintenir ses connaissances professionnelles et techniques en participant à des opportunités de formation, en restant à jour sur les tendances du secteur, en créant des réseaux personnels et en participant à des associations professionnelles.
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree and 3 or more years of experience in Claims or Insurance area
- Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 3 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area
- Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
- Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets and products
- Microsoft Office experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
- Solid time management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
- Experience collaborating in a team environment and building cross functional working relationships
- Adept in identifying and explaining complex financial and/or actuarial concepts.
- Ability to determine the scope and exposure for moderately complex claims
- Demonstrates understanding of the reserving process for indemnity and expense in analyzing the potential exposure of moderately complex claims
- Ability to develop and execute a negotiation strategy and plan for resolution
- Ability to identify subtleties in customer/client and/or business partner interactions
- Ability to present information necessary to propose a claim resolution to stakeholders
- Must be fluent with French language
- Fluency in both spoken and written English is required to facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec.
