In a context of continued growth, the firm is seeking to welcome a new team member to support its operations and contribute to the maintenance of high standards of quality and professional rigor.Main responsibilities:
  • Review financial statements and other assurance deliverables prior to issuance to ensure compliance with professional standards.
  • Perform quality control reviews and internal inspections of completed files (audit, review, and compilation engagements).
  • Contribute to the development and ongoing enhancement of the firm's tools, templates, and working methodologies.
  • Act as a technical resource for assurance teams on matters related to ethics, independence, assurance standards, and accounting principles.
  • Participate in the implementation of new professional standards and internal training initiatives.
  • Develop, update, or enhance policies and procedures related to assurance engagements.
  • Maintain ongoing professional knowledge and perform other related duties as required.

Skills and qualifications :
  • CPA designation, Chartered Professional Accountant (Auditor).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in assurance (audit and review engagements), ideally in a firm setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian Auditing Standards, CSRS 2400 (review engagements), and Canadian accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE).
