Company: Finning CanadaNumber of Openings: 4Worker Type: Temporary (Fixed Term)Position Overview: We are currently seeking individuals with warehouse experience to join our dynamic team in our state-of-the-art warehouse located in West Edmonton on a 7 x 7 Continuous Day Shift (Wednesday through Tuesday, 7am – 7pm) schedule.This position is a temporary role expected to be in effect from May through the end of August.As a warehouse person, your duties include but are not limited to shipping and receiving of Caterpillar parts and components, general warehouse maintenance, and assisting with inventory control.What’s in it for you?

Load and unload parts trucks by hand or using material handling equipment
Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures and regulatory compliance procedures
Provide assistance as needed to co-workers and customers (internal and external)
Participate in annual cycle count to ensure inventory accuracy
Maintain warehouse and yard storage areas to align with Finning standards and to ensure a safe work environment
Accurately sort and assign bin location for incoming stock
Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Previous warehousing and/or RF Scanner experience would be considered an asset
Hold or be willing to achieve crane, forklift and related safety training certifications such as WHIMS and TDG
A strong commitment to safety is imperative

Important Details:

This is a temporary position expected to be in effect from May through August
Continuous Shift runs 7 x 7 Wednesday through Tuesday, 12 hrs/day (7am – 7pm)
Candidate Selection will be in accordance with the current CBA
Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.
