Job Description:We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Langley, British Columbia. In this role, you will oversee payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing for employees, contractors, and vendors. This is a long-term contract position that offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to contribute to both payroll and accounts payable functions.Responsibilities:
  • Process semi-monthly payroll for salaried employees and hourly contractors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Handle timesheets for contracted staff and resolve any related issues or discrepancies.
  • Manage benefits-related tasks, including updates and coordination with external providers.
  • Oversee accounts payable tasks, including invoice approvals and weekly cheque runs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to review and approve payroll reports before submission.
  • Assist with external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all payroll and accounts payable activities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll and accounts payable functions.
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all tasks.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration and payment processing.
  • Solid understanding of time tracking systems and vendor management.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Experience with external audits and providing supporting documentation.
