If you're eager to make a difference in the community and seize this special opportunity, we welcome your application to join our client's mission.Location: Gold River, BCJob type: Full-time | PermanentRelocation assistance is partially provided, if not presently a resident of Gold River, BC.First three months of accommodation are providedFree access to our Aspire Academy for continuing professional educationDuties and Responsibilities:Manage tenant relationships in their entiretyAttend committee meetings as requiredFacilitate Housing committee meetings in their entirety including creating and distributing agendas, taking minutes and submitting minutes for review by the Housing ManagerCoordinate needed repairs with the Public Works Supervisor, under the Housing Manager's supervisionMaintain departmental records, payments, repairs, receiptsOversee new house inspections, as well as inspecting houses upon tenants exiting the rented premisesPrepare rental agreements with new tenants and facilitate move-in, including the key handling and initial walk-through inspection with tenantsRequirements and Qualifications:Completion of Secondary School is required, a University degree is preferredExperience working with First Nations is preferred and/or a combination of education and experience working in a housing support setting, with at least three years of experience.High level of competency in computer software, including MS Office (Word and Excel).Some budgeting, and management experience is an asset.Proficiency in project management principles.Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong emphasis on mutual support.Capability to handle complex, high-pressure situations, difficult decisions, or emergencies with tact, compassion, and sensitivity.Analytical skills to assess complex programs, policies, and operational needs for effective service delivery.Ability to identify and address sensitive community and organizational issues, concerns, and needs.Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.Effective organizational and filing system skills.Aptitude for establishing rapport with individuals from diverse educational and occupational backgrounds.RCMP clearance, including a Vulnerable Sector check.Valid driver's license and access to a transportation vehicle for regular travel.Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.Apply now for the Housing Coordinator position in Gold River, AB, and an Adecco recruiter will reach out if you meet the qualificationsLacking the skills for this job?
