- To maintain & organize Comms rooms with the required tools, equipment & chemicals.
- Must meet or exceed productivity thresholds relative to pre-determined time allotments and quality standards for specific areas set by Management or Strata’s, and audit same.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are met and maintained in all facilities, and report shortcomings/faults to the Manager or Supervisors.
- Participate in all Occupational Health and Safety standards set for the department.
- Check in with Management/supervisor to ensure all Common / Commercial contracts are being met and exceeded!
- Duties may also include the following:
- Sweep, mop & wash floors
- Wash windows, walls, fixtures & appliances
- Vacuum carpeting & dust surrounding areas.
- Clean & disinfect public areas such as kitchens, washrooms, change rooms & elevators.
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
- Attending guest’s requests for extra supplies & provide basic information on resort.
- Previous hospitality background preferred, but not required.
- High School Diploma
- Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and be able to wear gloves, WHIMIS an asset.
- Must be available for full-time year-round work.
- Able to multi-task, work well under stress and meet targeted deadlines.
- Must be flexible and adaptable under changing conditions, priorities, and unexpected situations.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must have good training skills and be able to motivate and organize team members.
- Must be able to work a flexible shifts, weekends, holidays. This position may require overtime and altered scheduling according to occupancy.
- Must possess safe work habits with an awareness of safe work procedures.
- Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals.
- Being able to lift 35lbs, push, pull & lift heavy objects for prolonged periods of time.
