- Lead daily field operations and meter service activities within the assigned jurisdiction.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of gas service
- Oversee emergency response planning and coordinate on‑site response activities as needed.
- Manage the implementation of operational plans and initiatives that support organizational goals.
- Monitor work quality, productivity, and adherence to operational standards.
- Identify process improvements and collaborate with leadership to implement changes.
- Ensure proper resource allocation, scheduling, and workload management.
- Partner in the development and management of the station’s operating and capital budgets.
- Monitor spending, identify variances, and recommend adjustments based on operational needs.
- Ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials.
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, contractors, and local stakeholders.
- Manage engagement with regulatory bodies and community partners as needed.
- Communicate operational updates and issues to leadership in a timely manner.
- Manage and coach employees, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Drive employee development through training, feedback, and performance management.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, codes, and internal policies.
- Promote a strong safety culture and reinforce safe work practices.
- Conduct safety reviews, audits, and corrective actions as required.
- Identify operational risks and escalate issues appropriately.
- Lead development and execution of mitigation plans.
- Ensure station activities protect the interests of employees, customers, and the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in gas, electric, or utility operations.
- 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in field operations or related environments.
- Working knowledge of gas utility operations, including distribution, transmission, metering, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with regulatory agencies and industry standards.
- Experience supporting emergency response or crisis management activities.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and drive operational results.
