- Track product flow from origin to delivery & intervenes as needed to ensure on time delivery
- Inbound Product Flow - Coordinate shipping finished goods from overseas factory, monitor and track shipments and oversee and resolve any customs related issues
- Outbound Product Flow - Support the selection of cost effective and timely transportation solutions and prepare appropriate customs documentation and shipping information to ensure shipments are ready on time.
- Work with our account services team to troubleshoot carrier delivery failures to minimize non-compliance charges & provide guidance as needed
- Support Warehouse manager to ensure all inventory is received on time and help resolve any missing purchase order information
- Interface with customs broker and resolve any customs clearance issues
- Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and processes on all North American and offshore import and export transactions
- Provide in-house guidance/knowledge on classification, HS tariff codes
- Support CBSA and CBP requirements setup
- Create any export or import paperwork whenever required
- Monitor our freight audit software to trouble shoot invoices stuck in exception to ensure that all invoices get paid on time
- Maintain order to delivery KPI's and effectively communicate service deviations cross functionally
- Conduct root cause analysis of on time delivery failures, identify opportunities for proactive mitigation and work cross functionally to implement
- Support the logistics manager to review contracts and negotiate best rates possible
- Perform other related duties, as assigned
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets to identify trends and anomalies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence decision making
- Experience developing and presenting reports
- Comfortable using Netsuite or a similar ERP & Trax or a similar freight audit software
- Round 1: A 45-minute phone call with a member of Talent Acquisition
- Round 2: A 60-minute virtual interview with our VP of Supply & Operations and our Manager of Logistics-expect technical and situational questions
- Round 3: A 60-minute virtual interview with members of our Operations team in which you'll present your solution to a take-home challenge we'll have previously sent you
- Round 4: A 60-minute virtual interview with our Director of Demand Planning & Account Services and our Senior Supply Planning Analyst-expect behavioural and situational questions
