This role requires a high level of expertise in project management methodologies and tools, as well as the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.This posting is for an existing vacancy.What you will do

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, large-scale projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Plan and manage large-scale information technology development and implementation projects to ensure business objectives and stakeholder needs and expectations are met
Work closely with other Tech Leads to ensure the success of the portfolio and the projects
Participate in the development of project management standards and methodologies
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. Develop risk management plans and strategies to ensure project success.
Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
Participate and/or drive vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders
Develop and manage all aspects of project engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues
Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations to various audiences, including project teams, sponsors, senior leadership and key stakeholders
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and manage
Provide direction and support to project teams. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project delivery.

What you bring to the role

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on risk management, stakeholder management, and large-scale project delivery.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel)
Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodology
Experience with risk management tools and techniques
Knowledge of budget management

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $106,500 to $156,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
