The actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.Westland also offers a competitive annual short-term incentive program that enables employees to share in the rewards of the business and emphasizes the measures that are key to our success.As a People & Performance Manager, you will act as a coach to managers at all levels and champion a modern, inclusive, and engaging work environment. You will partner with leaders in your assigned client groups to develop talent management strategies and champion leading practices in employment. You will contribute to the development and implementation of programs and strategies that align with Westland’s goals. Why we’ll love You:
  • Solid communications skills with a natural ability to build authentic and trusting relationships
  • Experience coaching and influencing business leaders and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to analyze problems, identify key information and issues, interpret data, and determine implications, and provide recommendations
  • Strong project management skills with change management experience
  • Working knowledge of all HR disciplines including performance management, resource planning, compensation, and employee engagement as well as relevant employment laws & regulations
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least one year of experience in a leadership role
  • Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR). Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or or suitable combination of education and experience
  • Strong employee relations experience, including conflict resolution, performance improvement, and terminations
Once here, you'll:
  • Partner with leadership to understand business goals, objectives, and challenges, translating them into effective HR strategies and initiatives
  • Act as an advisor and liaison between the business and centers of excellence to advise and contribute to various programs
  • Support the integration of newly acquired businesses through successful onboarding and continued support through their first year
  • Provide input into the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Work closely with Change Management to incorporate change management methodologies into the design and implementation of HR programs
  • Support leaders with talent assessments and succession planning
  • Provide guidance to leaders on organizational structure that will meet our evolving business needs
  • Share key HR data and analytics, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to enhance organizational effectiveness
