- Solid communications skills with a natural ability to build authentic and trusting relationships
- Experience coaching and influencing business leaders and stakeholders
- Proven ability to analyze problems, identify key information and issues, interpret data, and determine implications, and provide recommendations
- Strong project management skills with change management experience
- Working knowledge of all HR disciplines including performance management, resource planning, compensation, and employee engagement as well as relevant employment laws & regulations
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least one year of experience in a leadership role
- Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR). Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or or suitable combination of education and experience
- Strong employee relations experience, including conflict resolution, performance improvement, and terminations
- Partner with leadership to understand business goals, objectives, and challenges, translating them into effective HR strategies and initiatives
- Act as an advisor and liaison between the business and centers of excellence to advise and contribute to various programs
- Support the integration of newly acquired businesses through successful onboarding and continued support through their first year
- Provide input into the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Work closely with Change Management to incorporate change management methodologies into the design and implementation of HR programs
- Support leaders with talent assessments and succession planning
- Provide guidance to leaders on organizational structure that will meet our evolving business needs
- Share key HR data and analytics, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to enhance organizational effectiveness
