This is achieved by efficiently providing administrative support and coordinating clinic activity with friendly, enthusiastic and professional service with all patients, team members and external customers. The Care Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of patient intake, data entry, answering the phone, outbound calling, receiving faxes and emails, as well as invoicing and payments.Why Lifemark?

Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver a professional front-desk experience by managing calls, greeting patients, and addressing inquiries
  • Coordinate accurate patient intake and maintain up-to-date records throughout treatment
  • Assist patients with completing documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient records efficiently
  • Collect payments at time of service and submit insurance claims to third-party funders
  • Perform data entry and billing in accordance with clinic procedures
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including mail, courier, and fax
  • Provide administrative support to the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director
Qualifications & Core CompetenciesThe ideal candidate will have:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Medical Office Administration or related field is an asset
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills
  • Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite; previous experience with EMR/Case Management systems considered an asset
  • Flexible, adaptable, and responsive to changing priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a physiotherapy or multidisciplinary healthcare clinic is considered a strong asset
