We are currently seeking a compassionate and trustworthy individual for a part-time support provider position to lend a helping hand in the care of our autistic teen son. Experience not needed. Willing to train the right individual. Your responsibilities will be supervision and assurance of his safety. The is a part-time position but can lead to more hours if the right match is made. Looking for support particularly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from morning through mid-day. This amounts to less than 20 working hours per week but your role in our lives will be invaluable. Our son loves arts and crafts and being outdoors. He loves music and soaking in his hot tub. Looking for someone who can keenly participate in these activities, as well as light cooking and cleaning duties. Hoping to find someone that would be engaging and fun. I would appreciate someone who could start immediately. Although it's a part-time engagement, the commitment to the job is something we are not willing to compromise on.
