- Lead the civil and structural design process from concept through detailed design, including functional, performance, environmental, and seismic requirements.
- Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of civil and structural engineering professionals.
- Plan and execute work to meet quality, cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee civil and structural engineering activities for nuclear power plant fundamental design.
- Ensure compliance with engineering, quality assurance, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
- Support proposal development, resource forecasting, and risk mitigation to maintain safety, quality, and delivery performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) from an accredited university; Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Ontario.
- 15+ years of engineering experience on refurbishment and/or new build projects, including large‑scale EPC environments.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience, demonstrating strong directional leadership in dynamic, multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with nuclear projects and technologies (e.g., CANDU), including modifications and new build initiatives.
- Proven regulatory interface experience with CNSC and TSSA, including registrations, code classifications, and compliance documentation.
- Strong civil and structural engineering expertise with working knowledge of nuclear, CSA, and NBCC codes and standards; willing to travel and eligible for federal security clearance.
