Client Services Coordinator – Health Care Assistant (HCA)Begin a remarkable career that will make a difference in the lives of seniors. Senior Helpers Okanagan is seeking an individual to help lead our client services team! If you are a Health Care Assistant and/or have experience working in assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, senior living facilities, nursing homes, home care or healthcare, we’d love to meet with you.Position SummaryThe Client Services Coordinator (CSC) manages all scheduling, caregiver communication, and logistical support to ensure reliable, consistent service delivery.The CSC is responsible for ensuring seamless, compassionate support for clients and caregivers. This role blends scheduling, communication, problemsolving, and relationship management. CSCs work collaboratively in a rotating model to ensure continuity and maintain highquality service.Key ResponsibilitiesScheduling & Coordination
  • Build and maintain caregiver schedules
  • Serve as first point of contact for caregiver scheduling concerns
  • Respond to calloffs and fill shifts using established protocols,
  • Fill caregiving shift(s) as required should no other caregiver options be available.
  • Communicate schedule changes to clients and caregivers
  • Maintain accurate client and caregiver records
  • Participate in weekly crossover handover
  • Provide weekend oncall coverage on alternating weeks
  • Uphold the company’s values of dignity, compassion, and ethical care
  • As needed;
  • Respond to client inquiries
  • Communicate updates to families
  • Conduct inhome assessments
Recruitment & On-boarding Support
  • Assist with caregiver recruitment and screening
  • Coordinate on-boarding logistics and training sessions
  • Support new hire orientation (nonclinical components)
  • Administrative Support
  • Maintain accurate caregiver and client records
  • Support marketing activities as needed
Qualifications
  • HCA (Health Care Assistant) Certification
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Experience in scheduling or administrative coordination
  • Strong communication and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
