- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, ensuring consistent execution across all active projects
- Manage multiple complex initiatives using formal project management methodologies and internal tools
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and technical support teams to prepare project scopes, layouts, and proposals
- Oversee the full project lifecycle of projects, including on-site management as needed (40% travel)
- Develop and lead site planning efforts including installation, commissioning, operations, and decommissioning
- Act as primary liaison with clients, contractors, engineers, vendors, and internal departments
- Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Coach junior project managers, instilling best practices and reinforcing use of systems and templates
- Assess team performance in the field and provide feedback to support learning and development
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety leadership
- Travel approximately 40% across diverse job sites and industries throughout the U.S. and Canada
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Hands-on project management experience in sectors such as utilities, industrial facilities, or large-scale construction
- Certification in project management
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, electrical power generation, or distribution is considered an asset
- Experience working with integrated project delivery models, such as EPC or EPCM
- Proven safety mindset and ability to lead teams in high-risk environments
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, especially when managing diverse stakeholders
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment on project goals and timelines
- Comfort interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and regulatory requirements
- Willingness to work variable hours and in demanding environments as project needs require
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting
