Vacancy Type: Existing PositionAs our next Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery, assembling and inspecting products, and following standardized work instructions to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. - Operating CNC machines safely and efficiently
- Assembling and inspecting products according to standard work instructions
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and production sheets
- Using precision measuring instruments to ensure part quality
- Troubleshooting basic machining and material issues
- Handling machine parts manually with mechanical precision
- Maintaining traceability and process documentation requirements
- Following all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, including WHMIS
- Supporting 5S, SPS, and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities
- Maintaining positive working relationships with production and plant personnel
- Performing other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Post‑secondary education in a related field is an asset
- Experience operating CNC machines preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to accurately use and interpret measuring systems
- Good understanding of process sheets and quality standards
- Basic mathematical skills with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong safety awareness and reliable attendance
- Indoor manufacturing environment with noise and variable temperatures
- Continuous standing, walking, reaching, and bending
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (assistance available)
- Fast‑paced production setting
- Overtime and shift work may be required
