Job Description A respected and continually growing organization in St. John’s is seeking an experienced Controller to support its finance function. Reporting to senior leadership, the successful candidate will oversee day-to-day financial operations, lead the preparation of accurate financial reporting, and provide financial analysis to help guide business decisions.Key Responsibilities for the Job:

Lead and support the accounting and payroll functions
Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements
Ensure accurate financial reporting
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Monitor cash flow and provide financial analysis to leadership
Prepare internal financial reports for executive leadership
Support year-end financial statement preparation and external review engagements
Assist with financial process improvements and internal controls

Experience & Attributes for Success:

Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required
Minimum 5 years of financial management or Controller-level experience
Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring staff
Ability to quickly assess financial processes
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
