- Responsible for driving strategic growth of Legrand’s Data Center solutions across Canada, focus on Western Canada, support Eastern Canada.
- Acts as the national subject-matter expert for Data Center infrastructure solutions across Legrand brands including Power Bus Way, Cablofil, Wiremold and Pass & Seymour, EV Chargers.
- Engages end users, consulting engineers, contractors, and channel partners to influence specifications and project awards uncovering opportunities.
- Develop and execute a national Data Center business development strategy.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new Data Center opportunities including hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and edge environments.
- Build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline from early design through project award.
- Collaborate and support/promote business with other Legrand divisions including Avtron(Load Banks), DPC-Raritan/ServerTech, Starline, all key brands with Data Center focused products outside of EWS.

- Build senior-level relationships with Data Center owners, operators, and consulting engineers, and installers.
- Deliver technical presentations, lunch-and-learns, and solution briefings.
- Influence specifications to include Legrand solutions at the design stage.
- Support regional sales teams, agents, and distributors on complex Data Center opportunities.
- Provide solution guidance, system architecture support, and value engineering alternatives.
- Train internal and external partners on Legrand Data Center solutions.
- Serve as the Data Center expert across Legrand brands including Wiremold, Cablofil, Connectrac, and Pass & Seymour.
- Engage in New Account acquisition focusing on large Fortune 500 data center clients.
- Meet with key customers and decision makers to develop effective relationships. Be an end-user resource to help develop solutions.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on status and performance of customer accounts within the territory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide market feedback to product management and marketing teams.
- 4 years experience in Data Center, mission-critical, or electrical infrastructure markets.
- Proven success in business development or strategic sales roles.
- Strong understanding of Data Center design, construction, and specification-driven sales.
- Willingness to travel nationally up to 50% of the time.
- Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
- Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint), experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide information across multiple groups in the Company including Finance, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
- Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently.
- Passion for technology products and finding solutions for customers.
- Experience working with Channel Partners.
- Established network within the data centre industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively with end-users and decision makers to provide tailored Legrand solutions.
