- Lead the daily operation while ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction at all times
- Engage the team and drive a culture of service and hospitality to drive and exceed customer satisfaction scores, while ensuring service standards are met
- Ensure that ongoing training and performance management is taking place and that team members are being coached and held accountable for their duties
- Responsible for ensuring every employee is working effectively and efficiently as well as improving employee morale and employee relations
- Handle guest concerns in a timely and professional way, while ensuring to follow up and pass on information accordingly
- Assist in achieving financial targets through maximizing revenue and managing expenses and productivity
- Assist with systems, Open Table & Silverware POS, to ensure systems are maximized and utilized efficiently
- Ensure ambiance of restaurant and patio are well maintained and adjusted accordingly to time of day and/or season
- Ensure compliance to all local and corporate policies & procedures
- Degree or diploma in a related field is required
- Service focused personality is essential and previous food & beverage front of house leadership experience, minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a comparable setting is required
- SafeCheck Advanced Canadian Food Safety Certification is required
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office; prior experience working with Silverware or a related system is an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lead by example and create a strong relationships within the team and hotel
- Results orientated, positive outlook, attention to detail with ability to work within a fast paced environment
- Ability to consistently stand and walk throughout shift
- Available to work a schedule that reflects the business levels and needs of the venue/hotel
