Elevate your career and be a catalyst for transformative connectivity.Role OverviewAs a Field Specialist, you'll work outdoors to perform infrastructure and building data collection across St. Catharines and the Niagara Region, supporting telecommunications and utility projects. You'll independently conduct site inspections, capture high-quality GPS and asset data, and use GIS tools to ensure accurate, complete field deliverables. This role blends technical fieldwork, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination to help build the networks communities rely on.Key ResponsibilitiesField Data Collection & Analysis:Conduct site surveys/inspections using mobile devices and specialized tools.Collect, validate, and process GPS/GNSS data for telecom and utility assets.Analyze field data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.Quality Assurance & Documentation:Perform QC checks on collected data and maintain audit-ready records.Document observations, measurements, and asset details.Build and update deliverables (spreadsheets, maps, reports) for clients.Technical Operations & Coordination:Use GIS platforms and field data collection software for mapping/processing.Coordinate schedules and routes to optimize field efficiency.Troubleshoot collection issues and implement practical solutions.Stakeholder Engagement & Safety:Communicate professionally with contractors, property contacts, and the public.Adhere to safety protocols and operational procedures at all times.Collaborate with teams to improve field methods and workflows.What We're Looking ForEducation: Post-secondary education in Telecommunications, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
