Their multidisciplinary team consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals committed to improving the quality of life for individuals experiencing pain and other related issues. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Physiotherapist Lead to join their team in Calgary, AB. The Physiotherapist Lead will play a pivotal role in providing leadership, clinical expertise, and patient-centered care within their multidisciplinary team, with a focus on developing and implementing physiotherapy treatment plans for patients with pain and other related conditions.What you will be doing:Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with chronic pain conditions, including musculoskeletal evaluations, functional assessments, and biomechanical analyses.Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and evidence-based practices, incorporating manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and education.Implement and oversee the delivery of physiotherapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, electrotherapy modalities, and pain management strategies.Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and promote functional rehabilitation.Provide patient education and counseling on pain management techniques, self-care strategies, ergonomic principles, and injury prevention measures to empower patients in their recovery process.Document patient assessments, treatment interventions, and progress notes accurately and efficiently in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills in pain management and rehabilitation.What you must have:Registered Physiotherapist license in good standing with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta (CPTA).Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience as a Physiotherapist, with a focus on musculoskeletal and pain management rehabilitation.Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and empower a team of healthcare professionals.Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills, with proficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise prescription, and modalities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and caregivers.Commitment to providing compassionate care and advocating for patients with chronic pain conditions.Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and other relevant healthcare technologies.Salary/Rate Range: $75,000 – $100,000Other Information:
