Location: Vancouver, Britishh ColumbiaWhat you will be doing:Ensure alignment with corporate safety, security, data privacy, and IT governance standardsFollow secure coding practices and align with audit, change management, and SoD requirementDefine and follow development standards aligned with S/4HANA and clean-core principlesProvide technical build mentorship for improvements, integrations, reports, forms, workflows, and custom objects (RICEFW)Collaborate with solution architects and functional leads to ensure developments align with enterprise architecture and S/4HANA roadmapProvide effort estimates, technical impact assessments, and solution design inputBuild and improve RICEFW objects in SAP S/4HANA including Fiori AppsDevelop HANA-optimized solutions using CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, and OO-ABAPBuild and support OData services and integrations (IDocs, RFCs, APIs, web services)Refactor ECC custom code for S/4HANA compatibility and performanceSolve complex issues and ensure accurate transport and documentation practicesCollaborate with functional and integration teams to design end-to-end solutions across Finance (FI), Sales & Distribution (SD), and Logistics processesConduct performance analysis and optimization of HANA-based developments, including SQL trace and runtime analysisEnsure data consistency, transactional integrity, and stability across upstream and downstream systemsSupport data migration, conversion programs, and reconciliation activities during implementation or upgrade cyclesWhat you must have:Extensive SAP ABAP experience in S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or conversionsExpertise in OO-ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, OData, Enhancements (BAdIs/User Exits), and Adobe/SmartFormsStrong techno-functional knowledge of SAP FI, SD, and core logistics processesExperience with integrations (IDocs, RFCs, APIs, web services)Understanding of S/4HANA architecture, data models, and simplification itemsProven performance tuning and debugging experience in HANA environmentsStrong analytical and stakeholder communication skillsExperience with SAP Fiori/UI5 from a backend enablement perspectiveExposure to SAP BTP, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), or SAP Cloud integrationsKnowledge of SAP security concepts, role design impacts, and authorization objects related to custom developmentExperience working within SAP Activate or Agile delivery methodologiesFamiliarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD alignment in SAP landscapesExperience in regulated industries with strong audit and compliance requiredThank you for your interest in this opportunity.
