We are currently in need of a dedicated personal support worker whose primary responsibility will entail closely supervising and monitoring their assigned client on a consistent basis. One of the key aspects of the role includes the critical task of ensuring that the client abstains from the consumption of alcoholic beverages. This is an important role that requires full vigilance and commitment at all times, in order to effectively help the client navigate any temptations to drink alcohol. The primary goal of this role is to provide the necessary support and care towards helping the client maintain a lifestyle free from alcohol, promoting their overall wellbeing. The personal support worker will be tasked with creating a safe and conducive environment, as well as maintaining open communication with the client to ensure they understand the importance of steering clear of alcohol. Aside from this, the worker will also proactively identify potential triggers which may induce the craving for alcoholic beverages and assist the client in coping with these situations. Investing time, energy, and genuine caring toward this client could potentially facilitate a significant and positive change in their life towards a healthier, alcohol-free lifestyle.
