- Define and develop the engineering strategy aiming to build and maintain a strong and sustainable engineering organization for all Bombardier sites
- Gather, analysis data, draw conclusion and generate strategic recommendations to support the organization's objectives
- Document, simplify and present the recommendations to engineering executives
- Support the strategic engineering manpower planning align with demands and site mandate
- Evaluate competitive intelligence, industry benchmark and market reports to provide strategic insight and recommendations
- Lead and Influence (leadership) stakeholders, aligning them towards a common objective.
- Prepare and facilitate workshops with multidisciplinary teams for the validation of proposed plans and strategies.
- You hold a University degree preferably in a Business or an analytical field such as Engineering, an MBA or other professional designation (an asset)
- You have a minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of professional experience in a strategic environment within a manufacturing industry, knowledge of the aerospace industry (an asset)
- You have strong research and analytical skills with a commitment to rigor and attention to details;
- You have experience managing strategic projects, while having the ability to synthesize and present complex information.
- You have the ability to exercise full discretion in dealing with highly confidential matters
- You have the ability to coordinate and lead effective meetings and presentations.
- You have very strong in English, both verbal and written communication, leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- You are familiar with the tools of the Office 365 environment, particularly MS-Excel and PowerPoint, including all collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Teams
