The successful candidate will exemplify our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect, and Creativity.Within our collaborative environment, we are looking for a leader with deep expertise in designing advanced analytical methods for characterizing natural products and complex mixtures. Leveraging state-of-the-art instrumentation, you will work closely with researchers and technical specialists to drive impactful research and practical applications.   • Significant experience in leading scientific teams and managing research projects.
  • Significant experience with demonstrated success in developing partnership or business opportunities with industry, academia, and government; supported by highly-effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Significant expertise in the practice of modern analytical techniques, including mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.
  • Established record of peer-reviewed publications and/or impactful contributions in the field of natural products, supported by a proven track record of successful interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Significant experience means two (2) to five (5) years of experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across disciplines, contributing to research priorities and activities, and fostering productive scientific collaborations.
  • Ability to design, implement, and optimize analytical methods for natural product characterization, with strong technical expertise in mass spectrometry, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and data interpretation. Experience with predictive analytics is considered an asset.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and refining analytical workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reproducibility.
  • Adept at communicating complex scientific findings clearly, including preparing reports and presenting results at conferences and stakeholder meetings.
  • Ability to maintain broad awareness of current scientific, technical, and industry trends affecting the field, with strong interpersonal skills to engage constructively with colleagues, clients, and partners.

Salary determination will be based on a review of the candidate's expertise, outcomes and impacts of their previous work experience relative to the requirements of the level.
