- Under the supervision of the Vice-President of Operations, the VMI Solutions Director will be responsible for every aspect related to this sales channel. You will help define the strategy to achieve the desired results at business development and operational levels.
- Select the technology to be used (choose the machine supplier) and manage the relationship with the vendor. Always remain on the lookout for the best solution to fulfill our mission;
- Ensure the strategy for this sales channel is perfectly aligned with the SPI strategy;
- Select the product offering to be used in the machines;
- Develop a national agreement with an MRO supplier (or a few regional agreements to obtain a national one);
- Make sure the products sold on this channel are offered at an optimum price;
- Develop the budgets and manage the profit/loss report;
- Achieve the sales, gross margin, and profitability objectives;
- Automate the processes;
- Select and hire the right partners across the country to ensure the restocking of machines and monitor the process;
- Ensure the quality of the services rendered (refill/restock);
- Promote this channel;
- Manage the inventory;
- Work closely with different departments.
- Manage the team;
- Mobilize and guide your team and ensure that they are properly trained;
- Build business relationships with partners and subcontractors;
- Establish annual budgets.
- Achieve penetration rate set annually (VMI and SafeStock);
- Implementation of the strategy set each quarter;
- Deployment of 60 units annually.
- Bachelor’s degree in administration or any equivalent experience;
- Experience as an entrepreneur, an asset;
- Comfortable with making sales calls;
- Ability to travel (3 to 4 times per month);
- Bilingualism (spoken and written).
