- Develops product/service sales strategy
- Provides supporting data regarding economic or strategic benefit, investment cost, risk and alternatives for parts and service
- Evaluates long-term customer potential
- Develops total solutions to be offered
- Sets price, discount range and/or profit margin for particular parts and service sales; general prices, discount range, profit margins, trade-ins and discounts
- Participates in negotiating marketing programs
- Determines parts inventory needs and pricing for new product introduction
- Forecasts estimated revenues and expenses
- Identifies performance, process and other expense problems and effectively resolves them
- Addresses concerns of internal and external customers and effectively resolves problems
- Builds and maintains long-term customer relationships
- Plans, hires and assigns resources to meet demands of the department
- Liaises with Cat district representatives and other dealerships regarding product support sales and service issues and best practices
- Networks with community, associations and client groups to develop relationships and business
- College Diploma in Business and/or Engineering and/or Mechanics or Business Degree
