
3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Technician - Nissan/Infiniti Downtown

- Hands-On Training: Work alongside senior technicians to learn all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance, including brake systems, transmissions, engine diagnostics, electrical systems, suspension, and more.
- Vehicle Inspection: Assist in conducting thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues, wear and tear, and potential safety concerns.
- Diagnostics and Repairs: Learn to use advanced diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems, ensuring vehicles are repaired to the highest standards.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and fluid top-ups.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all company and industry safety standards.
- Passion for Automobiles: A genuine interest in the automotive industry and a desire to build a long-term career as a skilled technician.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Enrollment in or completion of an automotive-related vocational program is a plus.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail when working with complex systems.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers in a clear and professional manner.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable with standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and working in a physically demanding environment.
- Basic Knowledge: Familiarity with vehicle service requirements, automotive tools, parts, and systems is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with no demerit points.
