The Global Operational Risk Management Portfolio Management group acts as the bank's second line of defense (2LOD), ensuring risk policies, standards, and procedures are understood and applied effectively. In this role, you will work with assigned lines of business to identify, measure, monitor, and mitigate operational risk, while also contributing to senior management reporting.Advantages

- Act as a trusted advisor by supporting operational risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation.
- Provide independent challenge to business partners, ensuring effective risk management across Capital Markets.
- Partner with 1st line of defense (1LOD) and subject matter experts to enhance operational risk practices.
- Assist in preparing senior management reporting for governance committees and executive leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple lines of business.
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Guide and mentor junior team members as needed.
Must Have:
- 5+ years of professional experience, including:
o2+ years in the financial services industry.
o2+ years of Project Management experience (project plans, process flows).
o2+ years of advanced MS Office expertise.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience leveraging AI tools in risk management or reporting.
- Previous Big 5 bank experience.
- Capital Markets knowledge and product familiarity.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to mentor junior team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency improvements.
