- Preparation and analysis of month over month change in activity in the back office client ledger
- Preparation of bank interest revenue accrual and reconciliation
- Preparation of Client debit interest revenue and accrual
- Preparation of the FX revenue allocation
- Preparation of the Nostro account reconciliation
- Preparation of various gross-up and re-class entries
- Participation in various finance projects such as Blackline implementation
- Reviewing the work of a team of junior staff and providing guidance in resolving issues
- Proactively and continuously reviewing existing processes and procedures to improve controls and find efficiencies
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects within the Finance team
- Assisting with training and coaching junior staff
- Assisting with year-end audit requests
- Supervising multiple direct reports
- Hold a Post-secondary degree / diploma in a related field
- Hold a CPA designation
- Have 3-5 years’ full cycle accounting and financial reporting experience at a CIRO member firm
- Have advanced MS Excel, NetSuite, Google Workspace, SQL, Broadridge BPS, PostEdge skills
- Have excellent communication skills and comfortable interacting with all levels of leadership, both verbally and in writing
- Have demonstrated strong ownership and analytical skills
- Take initiative with a curious mind-set
- Have excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- Are able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Have completed the Canadian Securities Course
