Those who join this team are not inheriting a playbook — they are writing it at a pivotal moment in the evolution of AI and commerce. The Role:
As a Director - Agentic AI System Integration you are the delivery owner and execution leader for Agent Suite client implementations. If the Solutions Architect defines the technical blueprint, you are the force that activates it — translating vision into motion, momentum, and outcomes.
In this client facing role, you will:
- Assume primary delivery accountability for Agent Suite engagements from proof of concept sign off through production deployment and structured client handover
- Lead and govern multiple concurrent enterprise implementations, maintaining clarity, momentum, and delivery integrity without reliance on formal reporting lines
- Partner closely with Solutions Architects and forward deployed engineering teams to translate validated architectures into executable delivery plans
- Maintain executive grade program governance, including delivery plans, RAID logs, dependency mapping, and escalation frameworks
- Supervise and guide forward deployed engineering teams, remaining close enough to the technical reality to unblock delivery while maintaining executive level visibility
- Coordinate staged rollouts, UAT environments, and integrations across Mastercard platforms and complex client infrastructure
- Hold third party partners and system integrators to Mastercard’s standards of quality, security, and trust
- Contribute to pre sales scoping and estimation to ensure delivery complexity and risk are understood from the outset
The ideal candidate brings delivery excellence, systems thinking, and genuine care for the people and organizations their work serves — paired with a deep respect for trust, security, and responsible innovation.
You should have:
- Advanced experience delivering complex, multi party technology programs in regulated environments such as financial services, fintech, or enterprise platforms
- A proven track record taking at least one AI enabled platform, data, or API driven program from ambiguity through production deployment in a regulated context
- Strong program governance capability, with the ability to anticipate risk, manage dependencies, and guide teams through ambiguity to durable outcomes
- Demonstrated systems thinking — the ability to hold the full delivery architecture in mind, anticipate second order effects, and optimize across technical, organizational, and regulatory constraints
- Working technical fluency in AI enabled platforms, APIs, cloud architecture, and integration patterns, sufficient to engage credibly with Solutions Architects, engineers, partners, and clients
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to AI deployment in financial services, including GDPR, PCI DSS, the EU AI Act, and equivalent regional or national standards
- Experience delivering agentic AI or LLM based implementations in financial services, payments, or similarly regulated industries
- A defined area of professional depth that complements the team’s collective capability (e.g., delivery frameworks, forward deployed engineering, regulatory technology, security, financial data architecture, partner ecosystem management, context engineering, or agent orchestration)
- Proven ability to influence and coordinate across geographies, cultures, and multi party stakeholder ecosystems without formal authority
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to move seamlessly from technical delivery discussions to executive level briefings
