Job Description:Nakiska Ski Resort (Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc) and Kananaskis Country Golf Course are looking for a year-round, live in Residence Manager. The residence has 88 rooms in Kananaskis Village, one hour west of Calgary.The Staff Accommodation Manager is the front-line contact for all employees residing in Manor 88If living in the Rocky Mountains year-round has always been a goal of yours and you are looking for a fantastic job opportunity that will allow you to show off your general building maintenance, organizational, communication skills, then we may have the perfect job opportunity for you!The applicant should be mature with experience in building management and general building maintenance, as well as possess effective communication and organizational skills.The successful candidate will work closely with the General Managers from both the Nakiska Ski Resort and Kananaskis Country Golf Course.Some of the responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
Facilitate the turnover from Golf Course occupancy to Ski Area occupancy each season (October & April)
Check-in and Check-out procedures for all staff
An understanding of the ski industry and Golf Course and its seasonal cycle of accommodation.
Ability to enforce professional boundaries
Preparation of a preventative maintenance program for Manor 88
Execution of the preventative maintenance program
Ongoing building maintenance and repairs as required, with emphasis on repairs being done quickly and efficiently
Weekly cleaning of laundry facilities, entrances, stairwells, storage rooms, building exterior etc.
Report on any major repairs or purchases to Nakiska and Kan-Alta
Coordinate and guide contractors and cleaners as needed
Responsible for reporting and addressing any safety hazards
Secure and accurate organization of all building and room keys
Maintain orderly conduct among all tenants
Ensure building rules and regulations are followed
