High school graduation or equivalent (Grade 10 plus 2 + years of direct experience).
Must be physically able to work steadily at assigned duties.
Standing and walking for a majority of the work schedule.
Requires full use of upper and lower limbs and must be able to work with arms raised above shoulder level.
Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
Ability to perform the duties of the position.
Good work record.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Food Services Worker A is responsible for:

Preparing meal trays
Loading and activating meal carts
Setting up and closing food preparation equipment
Preparing basic food items and monitoring food temperatures
Portioning, delivering and serving foods
Cleaning and sanitizing small ware, equipment, and work areas
Restocking and storing supplies and maintaining inventory records
Operating the cash register and preparing deposits and reports.
