We’re looking for a Sales Representative in the data centre industry in Alberta.Our client is a global leader in temporary power and climate control solutions, supporting mission-critical operations in data centres and high-availability environments. This is an opportunity to join a fast-moving, responsive team that delivers custom-engineered solutions to hyperscale, co-location, and enterprise data centre clients. The Sales Representative will focus on growing market share in Alberta by developing relationships with facility operators, engineers, and infrastructure contractors.Sales Representative responsibilities:
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the Alberta data centre market
Build and manage relationships with operators, facility managers, and MEP contractors
Understand data centre operational challenges and align temporary solutions to support uptime
Conduct site visits and technical assessments to scope power and cooling requirements
Prepare proposals, contracts, and pricing in line with client needs and project timelines
Track opportunities and sales activity using CRM tools
Stay informed on industry trends, new builds, and expansion projects in the region
The successful candidate has:
3–5 years of technical or solution-based sales experience in critical infrastructure, electrical, HVAC, or industrial sectors
A post-secondary degree or diploma in business, engineering, or a related field
Experience working with data centres, large IT facilities, or high-spec mechanical systems
Strong communication, consultative selling, and relationship management skills
A proactive, self-directed approach and comfort working in high-demand environments
Willingness to travel throughout Alberta
Compensation and benefits:
The discussed salary range is $85,000 – $95,000
Lucrative Commission with bridge for first year
