Job Description:Our Distribution group is currently looking to add a Labourer to our growing team, based in Sherwood Park, AB.Reporting to the Manager, Subdivisions, we are seeking experienced construction Labourers to help complete a streetlight LED conversion project throughout the province of Alberta. This position requires the ability to work long hours working outdoors, working as a cohesive group. The majority of the work is within the Edmonton area with some out-of-town areas that will pay living out allowances.Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drive a bucket truck from light standard to light standard
  • Input work completed in an asset computer program
  • Work at heights from a bucket truck, removing the old luminaire and installing the new LED luminaire
  • Provide support for the bucket operator / Luminaire installer to maintain efficiencies during the daily job scope
  • Provide traffic control when required
  • Dismantle used luminaries and sort parts for recycling
  • Conduct various labour type tasks involved with the project
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a team-oriented construction environment
  • Proven ability to use computers
  • Must have a valid Class-5 driver's license and an acceptable drivers abstract
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work outside for extended periods of time
  • Must be flexible to working varying hours
  • Strong team member with a positive attitude
