- Offering a consultative, customer-focused approach to vehicle sales.
- Greeting customers on the sales floor and performing a vehicle needs analysis.
- Explaining features and demonstrates operation of vehicle.
- Researching availability of models and optional equipment using computer database.
- Tracking all activities to ensure you are being your most productive self every day.
- Working with Sales Managers and F&I Managers to facilitate the sale that best sets the dealership up for success.
- Responsible for an effective turnover to Finance office and to the Service department.
- Visually inspect inventory and maintain knowledge of current inventory.
- Completing all paperwork and arranging for delivery and registration of vehicle.
- Delivering and familiarizing the customer with vehicle.
- Completing training and attending department meetings as required.
- Keeping abreast of competitor products and the overall automotive marketing Canada.
- Meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets of new and pre-owned vehicles.
- Additional duties as required.
- Previous sales experience
- Excellent customer service skills; always striving to exceed customer expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs/Sheets.
- Comfortable working with technology and learning and using our custom apps and electronic vehicle management systems.
- Comfortable with compensation based on commission sales.
- Valid BC Drivers' License with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Valid BC VSA License is an asset
- Auto sales or Honda experience is an asset
- For qualified candidates, a guaranteed income for three months may be available to help with the transition to a new location.
