Product Design Lead (Sports Sponsorship, Saas)

- Lead design across multiple Partnership Intelligence domains
- Shape the end-to-end experience of a platform used by commercial, activation, finance, and partnership teams
- Define UX direction, partner on roadmap decisions, and champion quality across the product suite
- Evolve our design system to increase coherence, reusability, and development velocity
- Bring consistency to experiences that span multiple modules and user groups
- Translate complex data, workflows, and system logic into simple, frictionless interfaces
- Own interaction design, flows, and micro-interactions with a high level of polish
- Raise the bar on visual design, clarity, hierarchy, and overall craft
- Drive improvements to the design system, contributing new patterns and components
- Solve complex system design challenges (modularity, scalability, information architecture)
- Develop deep understanding of user needs, behaviours, and motivations across roles and regions
- Identify new problem spaces, areas of friction/ineffiency, and opportunities across the platform
- Partner with PMs, engineers, and data teams to validate concepts and prioiritise work
- Use evidence to reframe problems and influence product direction
- Build prototypes across fidelity levels to explore and validate ideas
- Test concepts with users and iterate rapidly
- Work with engineering to assess feasibility and constraints
- Work with PMs to define requirements and user journeys
- Collaborate with engineering early to ensure smooth implementation
- Create clear documentation and support delivery teams throughout build
- Align patterns and experiences across squads to eliminate fragmentation
- Improve how design plans, communicates, and collaborates across the wider product team
- Introduce rituals and documentation that raise quality and efficiency
- Contribute to building a more mature, scalable design practice
- Mentor and/or line manage other designers, prioritising high performance and professional development
- Led a platform-wide UX refresh that improved clarity, speed, and ease-of-use
- Unified experiences across multiple legacy modules into a more cohesive, modern whole
- Introduced smarter, more intuitive ways for users to find insights and take action
- Evolved our design system to support higher quality and faster iteration
- Shipped improvements that drove measurable gains in adoption, satisfaction, and time-to-value
- Raised design quality and consistency across a growing multi-region product organisation
- 5–8+ years of product design experience, including significant time in B2B SaaS or data-heavy products
- Demonstrated ability to design complex systems with clarity, modularity, and scalability
- Strong interaction design fundamentals — comfortable designing multi-step workflows, states, and data-driven interfaces
- Strong visual design craft with ability to raise the quality bar
- Experience with system design (information architecture, design systems, component-based thinking)
- Strong prototyping abilities across low- to high-fidelity
- Experience collaborating closely with PMs, engineers, and data teams
- Excellent communication skills — able to tell compelling stories and influence senior stakeholders
- A track record of operating autonomously and leading design across multiple squads

- Experience experience with social, digital, streaming and broadcast media, computer vision, content contextualization
- Experience working in multi-region, multi-timezone product teams
- Prior involvement in shaping design systems or DesignOps
