As the Software Development Lead you will drive innovative software development projects with a focus on Azure DevOps. You will be responsible for supporting a team, while implementing and optimizing DevOps pipelines for efficient software delivery. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, leadership skills, and a passion for driving excellence in software development processes.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs the Software Development Lead your key responsibilities will include:
  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers, providing guidance and support in the implementation of best practices and coding standards
  • Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies and practices, ensuring the team consistently delivers high-quality software on time and within scope
  • Work closely with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Architect, design, and develop full-stack solutions using the .NET stack, including ASP.NET, C#, and related technologies
  • Implement and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration and delivery of software
  • Conduct code reviews and implement best practices for code quality and maintainability
  • Oversee release management processes, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments to various environments
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, identify areas for enhancement, and implement strategies to increase team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address performance issues
Required Skills & QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a .NET Full Stack Developer with a track record of successful project delivery
  • Strong expertise in the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Core
  • Proficient in configuring and customizing Azure DevOps for version control, build automation, release management, and collaboration
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue)
  • Experience in database design and development, with a focus on SQL Server or other relational databases
  • Leadership and team management skills with a focus on mentorship and development
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills and collaboration abilities
