Select is excited to be assisting our client in their search for a detail oriented, tech savvy Accounting & Systems Lead to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys improving processes, and is excited about leveraging technology to strengthen financial operations. With a recently implemented ERP system and a move toward app based expense management, this position offers the opportunity to shape how our organization manages its financial data and workflows.
As the Accounting & Systems Lead, you will oversee core financial functions while driving continuous improvement in our accounting systems and reporting capabilities. You’ll work closely with leadership and cross functional teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all financial activities.What’s in it for You?

Hours:
  • Monday through Friday, daytime hours
Position Summary:
  • Manage bookkeeping and day to day financial activities
  • Complete month end financial reconciliations and reporting
  • Process payroll for employees and contractors
  • Enter and reconcile bank payments
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager to oversee financial ledgers
  • Maintain compliance with WCB requirements
  • Serve as the lead for our ERP/accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)
  • Build more robust financial reporting in collaboration with the General Manager
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and internal controls
  • Advanced proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
Bonus Points For:
  • Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or distribution environments
  • Familiarity with inventory or cost accounting
  • CPA Designation (or working toward)
