Each of our employees is committed to uphold our tradition of care, quality, and passion through food, and together, we foster an environment where we can all make contributions that matter–from our manufacturing plants to our office locations and everywhere in-between.Overview of The RoleThe Telecommunication Manager’s primary responsibility is to lead a team of telecom experts supporting Saputo’s network infrastructure, ensuring the highest performance and reliability for our enterprise networks, telecommunications and security infrastructure. The Telecommunication Manager is responsible for providing oversight into the overall architectural design of the network, associated tools, and service delivery.How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:
  • Provide day-to-day operational management overseeing the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise network, security and telecommunications infrastructure
  • Manage a global team of local and remote team members
  • Continually evolve monitoring and alerting to proactively address the performance of the network to ensure we deliver the highest reliability to our enterprise.
  • Work closely with IT & Cybersecurity Services to ensure consistent delivery of network changes, to develop an integrated approach to overall design of Saputo’ infrastructure, and to develop efficient operational processes.
  • Lead global projects and operational teams
  • Lead and participate in project planning, design, budget and key decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse group of IT and business colleagues
  • Encourage and enforce quality control, compliance and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage the delivery of effective solutions when concerns or performance issues arise from within the team, business and support areas.
  • Stay on top of the latest technologies and demonstrate creativity in finding solutions. Analyze the company's technology needs and propose solutions
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with users, peers, vendors and service providers.
  • Effectively lead and motivate a team of highly performing and highly technical staff.
  • Be part of a 24/7 escalation management matrix
  • Be available for occasional travel
You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience with large and complex enterprise network, telecommunications and security infrastructure is required. Direct leadership experience managing technical team is an asset
  • Management and leadership skills, including ability to influence/coordinate outside of direct reports in an international/multi-site environment
  • Proven experience with networking technologies (LAN/WAN/Wireless/VPN /Firewall/etc)
  • Knowledge of VOIP and PBX technologies
  • Experience to provision, install, and operate networks
  • Experience in OT is an asset
  • Cyber security expertise
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflicts
  • A passion for technology
  • Team spirit
  • Fluent in French and English
