- Recording inventory quantities, type and value of material and stock on hand using computerized inventory system.
- Maintain stock rotation and dispose of and account for outdated stock as assigned.
- Enter data stock replenishment/relocation and inventory adjustments.
- Reconcile physical inventory and computer counts.
- May assist with putting away of stock of incoming shipments in a timely fashion, which may include associated paperwork.
- Cutting and picking of stock when necessary and in relation to keeping counts correct
- Assist and participate in the preparation and completion of inventory counts.
- Act as necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment for self and others.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Proficient in inventory software, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in Wholesale Distribution
- Excellent knowledge of electrical wire/cable
- Thorough knowledge of warehousing policies and practices.
- Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to operate a computer.
- Management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use or repair small, medium, and heavy equipment and machinery.
- 2-year term
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Min. 2 years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field
- Certified in ‘Basics of Electricity’
- Minimum Lean Certification in 5S Methodology (ISO Ref 18404
- First Aid Certification (Minimum Level 2)
- Forklift Certification (counterbalance and high reach)
