In this key role, we'll look to you to ensure operational excellence in streamlining our business processes using the latest automation technology.What you'll do:
  • Work in a Scrum-based, Agile development process
  • Attend and participate in Scrum meetings
  • Assist with user acceptance testing
  • Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features
  • Write scripts and automation using Python, Bash, Perl, or Powershell
  • Work with various orchestration technologies and platforms such as Ansible, Ansible Tower/AWX, Terraform, and Puppet
  • Self-starter, flexible, adaptable, highly organized and proactive
  • Integrating Business Applications to share data between systems
  • Responding to operational tasks and system alerts, escalating as required
  • Developing and deploying tools and processes to strengthen our operational footprint
  • Maintaining technical procedures, administrative processes, and configuration guidelines
  • Identifying repeatable tasks that can be automated to save time and money through Continuous Improvement
  • Demonstrated proficiency of written and verbal communication skills (including technical writing and presentations) with ability to communicate and collaborate effectively both internally and externally
What you need to succeed:
Must-have:
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related technical degree or equivalent work experience
  • Self-starter, flexible, adaptable, highly organized, and proactive
  • 5+ years' experience in Infrastructure Management including a focus on customer service and complex technical assistance
  • 3+ years' experience with private and public Cloud technologies
  • Experience with support ticketing systems and monitoring systems
  • Experience in integrating systems (REST, SOAP, LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML/SSO)
  • Experience with ScienceLogic or equivalent monitoring system
  • Experience with Ansible Tower/AWX, Terraform, and Puppet
  • Certifications in ITILv3 or v4
  • After-hours and On-call rotation availability
Nice-to-have:
  • Familiarity with Linux or Windows Operating Systems
  • Familiarity with Scrum Framework
  • Familiarity with Agile Software Deployment
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow integration / development
  • Experience n a Managed Service Provider environment
  • Certified AWS DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator, or Developer
  • Certified Azure Administrator or DevOps Solutions
